The Inn

A grand old Hendersonville home, kept intimate

The Elizabeth Leigh Inn was built in 1893 and was one of the finest homes of old Hendersonville. Fully restored and filled with period antiques, it is now a quiet, luxurious getaway with only four suites, so the house never feels crowded. Wide porches, a garden of hydrangeas and a grandfather clock in the hall set the pace: slow, Southern and personal.

Your innkeeper is Cindy Baer, who runs the house herself, from breakfast in the kitchen to advice on how to spend your days in the mountains.

Breakfast

Cooked in house, served in the dining room

Breakfast is an add-on you select at the time of booking, so it is ready for you in the dining room each morning. Cindy cooks in the inn's own kitchen, and the house is known for the personal touches: homemade ice cream and a guests' pantry you can raid for a late night treat.

In winter, ask for the "Baby It's Cold Outside" package when you reserve: a bottle of wine and chocolate covered strawberries waiting by the fireplace in your room. Two night minimum.
